I saw that someone used the good place as the base of their story previously.  It is one of my favorite TV shows. The Good Place made me interested in philosophy. It may be cool if we take some philosophy from Indian culture and from The Good Place to create a mixture of the 2. The Good Place has such a modern take because it makes the case that the after life points are not being calculated right. This is so true that even trying to make the right decision gives you negative points because of unintended consequences. Here is an article about the philosophy of the show: Article

Topic 2:

I love fantasy so it may be interesting to have a lord of the rings type journey. Start with a base character and put them through various tribulations. But all of these would be rooted from Indian epics and combine them. I would like to adapt these stories to a more traditional fantasy/fairytale. I really like The Goblin City story and I think that that would be an interesting tribulation that the protagonist would have to overcome. After reading more of the stories I can adapt appropriate ones to my story. They would all be building with each task, and the last story be the most extreme story. I found this article that gives some great tips on how to properly write a fantasy story:Fantasy Story Writing

Topic 3:

I love Disney a lot. So, it may be interesting if I adapted the stories to be more Disney-esque. I love to draw to it may be interesting if I could help tell my stories with illustrations. I feel like it would be similar to turning the Grimm Fairy tales to a Disney film. This would mostly mean that the stories would be less dark and also probably include parents dying to start the protagonists journey. My favorite type of story is Pixar's story. I love how they turn inanimate objects into such lovable characters. That is another aspect that could be interesting to explore. Here is an article that describes how to write a Disney story: Disney Story Article

Topic 4:

I love rhymes. I have always loved Dr. Seuss. They are very satisfying to me. So, it may interesting to adapt  the stories in that way and have my big story completely be written in rhyme. It also has a fairy tale feel. I did my first trial story in rhyme and really enjoyed writing it. It is like a word puzzle where  you are writing with the next line in mind so that they will go together. I would be nice to work on being able to write a story that fun to read. To me it is very fun to read rhymes. I think doing it in a Seuss style would be awesome. I found this little creative writing that describes the typical rhyme schemes: Dr. Seuss writing

Week 7 Story: Your Worst Fear

Week 7 Story: Your Worst Fear Meme Authors Note: Source .   Indian Myth and Legend   by Donald A. Mackenzie (1913). I really liked the description of the monster in the tale, and it made me want to write a rhyme describing a monster in detail. I hope you enjoy!! How can one capture the horror? For this description is no snorer. I speak of a beast Who enjoys to feast. His hunger is only satisfied by the juicy flesh of many a human being. When mortal souls look upon him you know they are peeing. To give you an idea of his features that are so chilling. With simply a glance they could sure be killing. He is truly grim to behold. On him grows plenty of mold. Gazing into his blood red piercing eyes Could result in one’s demise. His skin was grey as ash, But he’s a messy eater so there is a red splash. With a mouth like a chasm, He uses his powerful jaws with enthusiasm. This mouth reeked of decay. This is from hi...

Reading B: Babbitt. More Jataka Tales

Reading B:  Babbitt. More Jataka Tales Meme How the Monkey Saved His Troop : This was a cute story. I would write a rhyme over this story. I would rather the king promise to leave their tree be. The Hawks and their Friends : This story was boring to me. I have preferred reading the others over this one. The Brave Little Bowman : This was adorable!!! This will be the next story I write! I'm excited!! The Foolhardy Wolf : That was a pretty good story. I like that even though you may be good it is important to know your limitations. The Stolen Plow : This is a different version of a story that I have already written a rhyme or. This interpretation makes more sense so it is better in my eyes. The Lion in Bad Company : This story is wild. I don't really like it at all.  don't like stereotypes and I would not write a rhyme about this story. The Wise Goat and the Wolf : The best part was the wolf looking and the goat saw. It is hilarious that the...
